Unified Benchmarking tool for laptop

Choosing electronics like laptop to buy is very hard, especially which the amount of option provided. There are multiple choices to make, to choose from Various specs.

One of few wired things are Apple MacBook which has low specs to other laptops but perform very better than those. They are expensive too. Compare laptop with specs to specs is no longer an apple to apple comparisons. Having High CPU with BAD (lower generation) RAM will also degrade performance, and it's not easy to evaluate laptop performance worth wrt to its price. None of the benchmarks are fully solving this problem.

I am looking for a benchmarking tools which evaluates laptops overall performance as a whole and have relative benchmark metrics. No one compares benchmarks for battery, but battery life is very crucial for laptop as they are intended as portable devices

Today benchmarks at component levels either at CPU levels or RAM level or at GPU level. But I need benchmarks at laptop level, which is what I am buying, not individual component. There is the benchmarking site/tool Geekbench 6 https://www.geekbench.com/ which actually does what I am asking - unified, works with any laptop / electronic device as whole, but the problem is they don't benchmark at laptop level. Even though their benchmark testing is at laptop level, their results are at CPU level.

Main problem In today world is Even if you get all components which has best benchmarks in the component category - your PC might not be top. This is due to performance loss for compatibility adjustment etc.

If I am buying a laptop, then I need benchmarks at laptop level, not at one of its components.

I think, using geekbench gives a pretty good idea of the laptop performance, u can use separate tools to test ram, disk and GPU , that being said the cross platform issue will be there as OS works differently. Final verdict just read performance comparison blogs and pray they are not paid.

GreekBench works great if I am buying CPU but not laptop. That's the problem. I need "greekbench for laptop".

@abhi NanoReview does review at laptop level. Likewise, I need benchmarks at laptop level.

PC Mark 10 benchmarks, actually a bit better job. They combine both CPU and GPU for benchmarks also reveal other information in order to identify that particular laptops. But if you want to know benchmarks of the laptop you are planning to buy is still a nightmare. They are not unified, so you can't compare it with MacBooks.

site to check pc mark 10 results https://www.3dmark.com/search#advanced?test=pcm10b%20D&cpuId=&gpuId=&gpuCount=0&gpuType=ALL&deviceType=ALL&storageModel=ALL&memoryChannels=0&country=&scoreType=overallScore&hofMode=true&showInvalidResults=false&freeParams=&minGpuCoreClock=&maxGpuCoreClock=&minGpuMemClock=&maxGpuMemClock=&minCpuClock=&maxCpuClock=

There is a software called 3DMark, but I believe it is paid. This tool determines the performance of a computer's 3D graphic rendering and CPU workload processing capabilities together and generates a 3DMark Score with higher numbers indicating better performance. Check it out here.
